The Problem
Every good business starts by addressing a problem in the industry. At Hikikomori, the biggest problem we see is the engagement process.
Typically there are two routes: a company has an existing staff member run their social media campaigns, or they hire external talent to take on the task.
Unfortunately, neither of these routes make for a smooth transition. In allocating the task internally, employees may be forced to wear too many hats and lack the concrete social media research and campaign-building experience. It's not that they cannot run a campaign successfully, they just might not know where to start.
However, hiring external talent has its problems as well: they need to research the company, learn about the corporate structure, research the market segment - and all of these tasks are billable hours that usually involve a monthly payment.
We are trying to change this system.
The Solution
Your business is your baby. Instead of parenting your social media channels, we seek to provide you with a solid foundation to take your first steps. This involves a combination of an audience profile and an engagement strategy. From there, the rest is up to you. We give you the information, you use the tools according to the best practices for your business.Benefits
1. No Monthly Bill: When a company is hired on a monthly business they are spending the amount of time in which they are being paid. These may or may not be services that you need. Also, businesses have busy seasons and slow seasons. We feel that a monthly retainer may not always be conducive to the ever-changing landscape that is business practice today.
2. Two Week Turnaround: You hire us and you will have your customized report in two weeks. Guaranteed. After an initial meeting and specific needs assessment, we are ready to roll on our own. This gives you more time to keep working on what you do best: running your business.
3. Customized For You: Engagement strategies are often filled with blanket terms and generic advice that may not be the most effective for your audience. We tackle this head-on by defining your audience with a comprehensive profile, and then explaining exactly how, when, and where they like to engage. No more "searching."
